Comments on the past 50 years:
Life has been busy and full of ups and downs since high school. I attended BYU for two years and then after I married Roger we went to Weber State so that he could play basketball and baseball there. I got my degree in Elementary Education and have taught off and on for about 14 years. I loved the children, but sometimes not the stress of it all. Roger played professional baseball for the Chicago White Sox and the Atlanta Braves for a few years after college. He made it to Triple A in Richmond, Virginia and then decided to take a coaching opportunity at Payson High School. He was there for 3 years and then moved to Clearfield High for 4 years. He then had an opportunity to coach at BYU and was an assistant basketball coach there for 11 years and the head coach for 7 years. After that he enjoyed coaching the Phoenix Suns with Danny Ainge for 3 years. Then he coached a Chinese professional team for 2 seasons and then went to Snow College for 2 years. The last 2 years we have been at Southern Utah University in Cedar City and really enjoy it there. Rog is looking forward to having a good team this year with two 7 foot tall players coming from Australia. We have been lucky enough to keep our home in Spanish Fork and try to spend a lot of time there. As you can tell basketball has been running my life for quite a long time now. Well, Rog loves it and it keeps him goimg. I enjoy quilting, gardening, scrapbooking and playing with my little grandkids. Life is moving quickly so we had all better enjoy every day!
