We have 5 children: Randy, Robbie, Davey, Darren and KelliAnn. Davey passed away at age 3 1\2. Randy served an LDS mission in Morristown, New Jersey, graduated from BYU and then got his MBA at Harvard. He has been working on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs and has just changed his business to Merrill Lynch. The exciting things is that he is moving back to Utah and bringing his four little ones with him. Robbie served a mission to Athens, Greece and Cyprus, graduated from University of Michigan and then played some basketball overseas. He also got his MBA from Harvard and is presently looking for the perfect job AND wife! Darren served a mission to Capetown, South Africa and Namibia, graduated from UVU and then got his law degree from Ohio State. He works for Holland and Hart in Salt Lake and has two adorable little boys. Kelli is married and lives in Highland with her husband Jason and three little boys - also adorable. |

We have 9 grandchildren - 8 boys and only 1 little girl. We're hoping to even things up soon. They're lots of fun and VERY BUSY! They love sports, Star Wars and Legos. Naomi holds her own and really loves riding horses. She won't get off and give anyone else a turn when my brother Steve has his annual summer party.

Life has been busy and full of ups and downs since high school. I attended BYU for two years and then after I married Roger we went to Weber State so that he could play basketball and baseball there. I got my degree in Elementary Education and have taught off and on for about 14 years. I loved the children, but sometimes not the stress of it all. Roger played professional baseball for the Chicago White Sox and the Atlanta Braves for a few years after college. He made it to Triple A in Richmond, Virginia and then decided to take a coaching opportunity at Payson High School. He was there for 3 years and then moved to Clearfield High for 4 years. He then had an opportunity to coach at BYU and was an assistant basketball coach there for 11 years and the head coach for 7 years. After that he enjoyed coaching the Phoenix Suns with Danny Ainge for 3 years. Then he coached a Chinese professional team for 2 seasons and then went to Snow College for 2 years. The last 2 years we have been at Southern Utah University in Cedar City and really enjoy it there. Rog is looking forward to having a good team this year with two 7 foot tall players coming from Australia. We have been lucky enough to keep our home in Spanish Fork and try to spend a lot of time there. As you can tell basketball has been running my life for quite a long time now. Well, Rog loves it and it keeps him goimg. I enjoy quilting, gardening, scrapbooking and playing with my little grandkids. Life is moving quickly so we had all better enjoy every day! |
