In 1964 I married Bill Wood. We shared 33 wonderful years together before Bill passed away of diabetes in 1997. We had four children. Mike, Russ and Michelle live in Salem and I have one daughter, Tami, who lives in St. Anthony, Idaho. It's wonderful having my kids close by. In 2000, I married Terry DeGraw. He has two children. His son , Mark, lives in Payson and his daughter, Cindy, in Delta, Utah. We now have 21 grandkids! |

Comments on the past 45 years: |

Bill and I were busy raising our family. We had lots of fun times camping, traveling and playing sports. Baseball and co-ed volleyball were our favorites.
Now that Terry and I are retired, we love traveling, camping, watching the grandkids in various sports, and our favorite is 4-wheeling. We have been on some awesome rides. Ouray, Colorado has the most beautiful places to ride up in the mountains. We also like Marysville, Utah and the Paiute ATV trails. |

After high school, I graduated from Provo Technical College then worked for the State Road Department until I started my family. When my kids were all in school, I went back to college at BYU and graduated in elementary education. I also earned my masters degree in Educational Leadership. I taught 1st grade for 4 years at Santaquin Elementary, 3rd grade for 4 years at Salem Elementary, 10 years working with BYU student teachers and interns at Wilson Elementary in Payson, and back to 1st grade for 6 years at Salem Elementary. I retired in 2007.

Aren't grandkids wonderful to have!
